Council tries to ban street traders

“STREET traders have given the city council a petition with more than 20,000 signatures in support of their campaign to keep their pitches in Nottingham city centre.

The traders are fighting proposals from the council to ban stalls on city centre streets. The council has suggested that it could create a new market at Clinton Street East to accommodate the traders.

However, that has been dismissed by stall holders.

The city council has now said it will review which streets can have traders – but it is still planning to create a new market area somewhere in the city.”

Idiots in city council have NO idea what tax payers want. What we don’t want is them wasting our money on their crapmongery.
