Nottingham declared repossessions ‘hotspot’

Nottingham has been declared as a repossession ‘hotspot’ along with 22 other areas. The ‘hotspots’ have been identified through the rate of unemployment and number of court orders in the artea.

Personally it doesn’t surprise me that Nottingham is a ‘hotspot’ area. Walking through Forest Fields at the weekend to visit a friend, I was struck by the number of houses that are up for auction, presumably as reposessions or forced sales.
