If like me you thought student accommodation these days was all dishwashers and plasma tv’s, then reading reviews about student accommodation in Boroadgate Park is eye opening. Students complain about mice, insects and an almost total lack of sound proofing.
“WALLS PAPER THIN SO CAN HEAR A PIN DROP NEXT DOOR…SOME DAYS WHOLE FLATS ARE WITHOUT WATER, AND OTHER SERVICES”
Is this accommodation owned by some private greedy landlord? No this student accommodation is actually owned and run by the University of Nottingham.

Nottingham Is Crap 
I live in Broadgate Park at the minute and these reviews scared the life out of me before I started there! Its an absolute load of rubbish and even though I live in one of the older flats they are completely refurbished and clean. The only mess is the mess my flatmates make – never once seen mice etc. its a load of rubbish! Cleaner comes once a week and does a fantastic job – cant hear anything outside your room when you have the door shut unless there are people in the corridor which is inevitable anyway. Really annoying – dont listen to this its complete rubbish written by people looking for any excuse to diss nottingham! Trust this from someone who ACTUALLY LIVES THERE! Broadgate park is the best hall at Nottingham uni!
